The problem

Inventory work depends on seeing current stock, supplier information, and low-quantity signals together. The project brings those pieces into a responsive operations dashboard.

The constraint

A stock figure alone does not tell a team what needs attention. The interface needs to place alerts and supplier context close enough to support the next decision.

Decisions behind the work

01

Lead with actionable signals

Low-stock alerts sit alongside inventory analytics so the dashboard can surface items needing attention instead of presenting only totals.

02

Preserve supplier context

Supplier summaries accompany the stock view, giving the team more context when reviewing an item or preparing a follow-up.

03

Build a connected workspace

The responsive Next.js interface, Prisma data layer, Neon PostgreSQL, and NextAuth.js access flow form one application rather than separate reports.

What the work delivers

The delivered workspace combines stock analytics, supplier summaries, and low-stock alerts. No verified operational metrics are available, so this case does not claim time saved or reduced stockouts.

What I took from it

An operations dashboard is most useful when it helps the next action become visible, not when it simply displays more data.
